This past spring, I began writing a novel in poems (or a verse novel) titled Jacob Wrestling.
Discussing my project with other writer friends, one stated that such a project “doesn’t fit under the category of a good idea.” That’s my fear, but my hope is that it just might fit under another category altogether.
This blog is dedicated to explaining just why someone might try to write a novel using poems, examining the difficulties and benefits of working in this way, and, hopefully, tracking the success of the endeavor.
